Euclid Hospital

Volunteers provide much needed support and focus on the patient and caregiver experience. Volunteers are always needed to assist patients, families and various hospital departments. Volunteer opportunities are based on the current needs of the hospital along with the volunteers availability, interests and skills.

Volunteer Program Requirements

All volunteers must be at least 18 years old and must complete a background check, fingerprinting and TB test (at no cost to the volunteer). Based on the desired volunteer role, other requirements may apply.

  • Traditional Volunteer Roles

    • Clerical Support
    • Gift Shop
    • Lab Delivery
    • Lobby Greeter
    • Nursing Unit
    • Waiting Area
  • Caring Canine

    Caring Canine Volunteers bring their dog to visit with patients and Cleveland Clinic Caregivers. The dog must be trained and certified through a recognized therapy dog organization. Caring Canine shifts are scheduled weekly for 90 minutes.
  • Spiritual Care

    Spiritual Care Volunteers carry out a faith-based tradition and must be recognized by and meet all requirements of their local faith group/organization.
  • Healthcare Partners (HCP)

    HCPs are current and former Cleveland Clinic patients. HCPs may also be family or friends who were previously or are currently involved in a Cleveland Clinic patient's care. HCPs sit on councils and projects with Cleveland Clinic Caregivers to improve the way we design and deliver care.

    Hospital Information

    Located on 17 picturesque acres along the Lake Erie shoreline, Euclid Hospital provides acute and sub-acute care, along with a full spectrum of outpatient services.
