Akron General volunteers are an important part of our healthcare team, providing the personal touches that patients and their families need, appreciate and remember.

Volunteer Program Requirements

All volunteers must be at least 15 years old and must complete a background check, fingerprinting and TB test (at no cost to the volunteer). Based on the desired volunteer role, other requirements may apply.
